Dr. Boyd is an experienced double board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician, bringing 25 years of dedicated care to patients of all ages. Dr. Boyd's goal is to provide the highest-quality care by understanding her patients' health and priorities. She actively engages in helping patients understand their health and working collaboratively to ensure they can enjoy each day with the energy and enthusiasm to do what they love.
Experience & Education
Dr. Boyd earned her BA from Boston College and completed postgraduate pre-medical studies at Columbia University. She obtained her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and finished her family medicine residency with a Tufts University program.
Passionate about health and wellness, Dr. Boyd completed a Sports Medicine fellowship in California. She holds board certification in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine.

With a keen interest in teaching, she served as an Assistant Professor of family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Boyd also became the Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program at UPMC. Her dedication has been recognized, as she has been honored as one of Pittsburgh's Top Doctors for many consecutive years.

She specializes in addressing complex adult medical issues, adolescent and child health, treating athletes of all ages, and promoting healthy aging.
