Are you at increased risk from COVID-19?

It's no secret that older adults are among the most susceptible to complications from infection with corona virus, including hospitalization, respiratory failure and death. 80% of deaths from the virus have been in people 65 and older. What can you do to protect yourself?

- Wash your hands often, don't touch your face or eyes, carry hand sanitizer with you and wipe down surfaces with disinfectant

- Keep your distance; at least 6 feet away from others which is about 2 arm lengths

- Call your doctor if you have fever, cough or shortness of breath. Please do not show up to your doctor's office unannounced as this risks spreading the infection.

- Does your doctor make house calls? We do! This is the safest way we know of to test patients for infection without risking exposure to others in the community. Contact us to learn more.
